Pam Carnochan
Wool Painting / Textiles
Studio #15

I am a fibre artist that is inspired by my sheep. My art starts at the source with the fleece coming from my animals and the many steps involved in moving through the seasons to produce the coloured felt and the artwork. I love the true connection to nature in my art form, with the time spent in the fields and forests around me as a result of my farming background. I trust the intuitive process that helps makes my work unique. I have been making my Watercolour with Wool art for about 20 years and enjoy sharing my techniques with others in workshops and at the Haliburton School of Art and Design and the McMichael Art Gallery. I welcome the opportunity to showcase my work again with this amazing community of artists as I had the privilege of participating in the inaugural tour, last year, as the guest artist with the talented Terri Howell.
